In a very strange place. Harsh acid and little fruit. Maybe at that "awkward" phase Rieslings sometimes go through. Maybe.

12 months on from my last try of this wine and I'm not sure it has come on that far. Still a pretty big, broad palate for an Eden Valley Riesling, with its acid a bit pokey and the 12.5% OH sticking out. Not sure weather our last 2 bottles will come around, and I'm left wondering why we bought four of these after tasting them at the Eden Valley tasting room. They must have been great when young!

Pale gold with a nose of lush lime-lemon, there is a hint of petrol. The palate is all over the place at the moment with the alcohol sticking out and a heaviness in the body of the wine. Not refreshing, rather it was hard work drinking through this acidic, lush, alcoholic wine. We have 3 more bottles and will be leaving them for a while in hope...
