Damn this is good. Myriad berry aromas and flavours come to the party and a nice long finish that includes things like black tea and herbs. Its core stayed the same over 2 nights but the specifics changed hour by hour. Another great Twisted wine!

Delicious! Big but balanced, meaty, tons of bramble fruit, and full of savoury notes. Enjoyed every bottle of this so far and this is no exception.

My last bottle, and it's going out on a very high note. Still a massively bright cedar-y nose, still rich, spicy and fruit-filled on the tongue.

Consistent with my notes from over two years ago. Massively cedar-riffic on opening/decanting/pouring. Big, meaty and satisfying.

Wonderful deep fruit with complex spice. Perfect with grilled lamb steaks.

Awkward at first but opened up into the expected awesomeness.

So good, and in a great place right now. Blackberry, spice, deliciousness.

Drank a bottle last night, showing beautifully. It's in a great place as far as aging goes. Plenty of dark, dense black fruit, black pepper, cocoa, all enveloped by thick tannin and acidity. Yet, all of that was in harmony, resulting in an idea combination of concentration and flavor integration. A long finish completed things.

This seemed a little closed down at this point. It may be dumb, may have just been a poor showing, but it seemed a little thin and a little under ripe.

Delightfully complex, spicy nose. Deep rich fruit, mellow tannins. A lovely wine.

This seems to be getting better and better. Not at all surprising, given it's now 5.5 years out from vintage. This bottle seemed lighter on its feet than previous ones and significantly more in balance. There was a hint of vegetal flavour behind the core of bright perfectly ripe blackberry fruit. Surprisingly light bodies for a PS, and even compared to previous bottles of this PS. The depth of colour and intensity of flavour, though, are right where they should …

Big, fat, slow legs and inky purple. Black cherry, oak, vanilla, and leather on the nose. Dark fruit on the palate. Abrasive tannins on night one, but opened up nicely for night two. Could definitely be cellared for a couple more years.

aromatics of dark fruits, leather, cloves and a touch of vanilla. the palate is a lively combination of plums and dark berries. a long lingering finish adds to the enjoyment of this bottle. an outstanding PS at a very nice price point.

This is, thus far, the best TO wine I’ve had, which isn’t saying much. I had another bottle of the same. It was not as good. (Again, not saying much… ) This bottle is mostly acid with a lot of oak influenced characteristics. The nose is an oaky-plum with a lot of sweetness. The palate is an unbalanced mess.

Dark purple with a bright ruby edge. Black cherry, leather, and cinnamon spice nose. Full bodied, blueberries, blackberries, pepper, woody tannins, smoke, a bit of heat, and a medium to long finish. This needed time. On the first night, it was rough and unbalanced. But 2 days later (vacu-vined and sitting on the counter), it was much much better.

Disappointing. Little fruit and little else. Some dark fruit on the palate, but nothing exceptional. Some oak effects like vanilla, but again, nothing remarkable. Muted nose. "Meh".

Popped and poured, consumed over 4 hours. Didn't take detailed notes general impressions were dark PS characteristics but generally not nuanced with a little hint of alcohol. Meh.

Opaque magenta. Blueberry and vanilla nose. Full bodied, plums, tart blackberries, pepper, dry tannins, good acid, a bit of heat, and a long gritty finish. Not as pleasant as I'd expect; maybe it's still too young.

Decanted. Initial smell: Deep, rich, dark fruit. Alcohol at the back. Initial taste: Tart berries at the beginning. Fresh blackberry ending. Smell 45 min: Darker fruit smell has moved down, with a lighter berry that's light and on top. There is leather at the end. Heat has died down. Taste 45 min: Tartness has mostly gone to the edges. Middle is fairly light, finishing with a some heat and a bit of acid. Good balance, but too more alcohol than …

Consistent with prior note. A bit more tartness and heat on this bottle - the remainder is in the decanter now.

Pop and pour. Will be reviewing this again with a decanter. Taste: Heavy black fruit at the start. Very much like a plum, with tart edge. Center has a bit of leather, but the wine has a balanced, mellow overall feel to it. There is a bit of acid and heat at the end. Smell: Fruit is a bit muted in power, but it's still very present. A very small hint of alcohol at the end.

Almost as opaque as a PS can get. Thick & chewy with notes of blackberries & licorice. There is a slight hollowness on the mid-palate. The tannins are so thick & teeth staining that I will likely need to scrape my teeth rather than merely brush them before going to bed.
