“G8 summit – An unappreciated variety” (blind), Wine 4: The wine was medium ruby in colour and offered red fruit, cherry, blackberry, a hint of milk chocolate, spices and vegetal notes on the nose. On the palate the medium-bodied wine showed red and dark fruit flavours (which almost seemed candy-like) as well as blackberry, chocolate and mild vegetal notes, with medium-level acidity, smooth tannin and good length.
