Dark violet, intense dark fruit, tar, spice, herbs, oak, medium+ finish. A bit monolithic though even on the second day. Great QPR for what I paid but I expected a bit more honestly.

Decanted - with slight sediment - a few hours before dinner: Thank you pilatus88! Initial: medium violet in color; red fruit on the nose; tart red fruit on the palate. At one hour: dark violet in color; nose and palate haven't changed much. At two hours: deep purple in color; darker red fruits on the nose; the palate is very attractive with a mix of bright red and dark red fruits, spice, integrated tannins, and nicely balancing acidity. The wine …

Closed and dull at opening and needed 2 hr to open up. But then a very nice priorat.

Wow...opens ready to drink ... deep purple...blueberry, cinnamon, currants ...nose and taste align. Dusty integrated tannins . Amazingly integrated.

a very pretty clear dark reddish to purple in the glass. straight away, cherries, cranberries and spice. and maybe a touch of raisin? ...with some time and air, it warms and darker berries find their way into the mix along with vanilla, and some pleasant woody notes. this is really nice. some sprightly acidity keeps this lively. very enjoyable. absolutely peaking, don't wait on these.

Bright powerful and elegant. Spicy kick with leather and cacao in the finish. This is a priorat with a flair of Tuscany. I find this wine inconsistent as this bottle is so much better than my last and this one displays all the good stuff i like about this wine.

PnP, could have done with some time as it showed better a couple glasses in. Good structure. Time to drink.

Very dark ruby. A bit grainy of sediment. The nose hints over mature black fruit and fig plum. Taste is pleasant but there is a sweet raisin touch that tells me drink sooner rather than later. Full mouth of dark plum and black berries. Long smooth finish.

Acid and bitter nose. Very dark color almost black, aerated to pour in glass. Over ripe, past maturity. lots of sediment on the bottom of the bottle. Second night, this rounded out a bit but overall I didn't like it

Chalky and chocolatey, smokey concentrated berries. Delicious medium weight on the palate. Some animal fat. Not quite ready, but close: 2020 and after.

Very Dark. Nose shows ample black fruit and vanilla. Dark fruit, rich, fruit syrup and vanilla - exotic! Velvety with firm tannin and a woody feeling on the finish.

Consumed this one also 2 years ago where it was rather heavy on the tannins, though with great potential I thought. Now it is well balanced with mature cherries and vanilla and last with smooth tannins... one of these days where you struggle to brush your teeth when going to bed loosing the wonderful after taste. Really one of the best experiences for a long time. I have another bottle and will save it another year

Really enjoyed this one with our roast beef dinner. Loads of cherry and vanilla on the nose and palate. This is full-bodied, rich and smooth - but definitively not flabby. Drinking very well right now, but could hold if I had more!

See previous note from two years ago, similar nose and palate but a little less distinct with the heat more integrated, an excellent bottle.

Bottle 3. Third flawed bottle. This was borderline VA or awful. Harsh, astringent, acetone.

Red and black fruit. Deep garnet colour, string but not overpowering with mineral and licorrlla backbone. Ready to go with a decant or can be left alone for a couple more years

Dense, black fruit, high toned nose, powerful , good length but still quite tannic and will likely improve with keeping for a few years

Concentrated berries. Tight wine. Spices, plums, dried cherries. Well balanced wood. Wonderful wine. Although a heavy wine I did not seem so alcoholic as 1.5 years ago. Long vibrant aftertaste.91+ To be decanted. Lots af residuals.
