This is a blend of four varietals unique to Portugal (30% Tinta Roriz, 30% Touriga Fronca, 30% Tinta Barroca, 10% Touriga Nacional). This showed purple with garnet hues. I got a little heat on the nose, with a smoky quality that mixed with some floral notes. Little fruit (although I had a cold at the time, so I might not have been able to pick up the fruit). Vibrant cherry color. Inoffensive to the nose. No oak present, light body. Mainly acetic but with a fairly decent balance of fruitiness, acidity and alcohol for a $7 table wine.
