Plummy, sweet, and alcoholic with accents of dried cranberry.

Too light and not rich enough for a port.

A relatively light body port yet sweet. Not much complexity to impress.

Plum and spicy Christmas cake on the nose. The palate offers more of the same with dark plums, raisins, spice. The tannins are little drying on the finish but very good wine for the price. €5 in Portugal!

Redelijke port, maar krijgt een paar dagen na openen toch een wat scherpe smaak en prikkel in de neus.

A rather primitive port

Bright ruby red; fresh nose of cherries, berries and spice; the palate is not too sweet, the fruit is a bit candied here, but the freshness is attractive and there is a hint of tannin; no lack of flavour, quite good length. Good for what it is and what it costs.

On first open, this was bright and delicious. Bursting with fruit, boozy on the nose but not on the palate. Easy to drink. After a few days, however, it was quite harsh... typically ports will drink well for at least a few weeks, but not this one. Still, a good buy at $8. 84-86pts.

Strong and inviting nose of dark cherry and spices. There is a whiff of alcohol too. Medium bodied and nicely balanced. The palate shows sweet black cherry, along with a pleasant spiciness that carries throughout the finish

Very alcoholic nose and flavor, hopefully will be better on the second day. I know it is a Ruby Port, but I expected some raisin flavor which this did not have. I actually like the fresh red fruit flavors. It is not very complex and if the alcohol dissipates some it should be an easy sipping Port.

Ruby-red, showing chocolate & raspberry in the nose, with a distinct note of alcohol. Tasty cherry/raspberry over cocoa. Balance is decent, finish is solid. I agree with the prior note -- it's a simple, straightforward port. Tasty, a good intro to ports, but I much prefer their LBV offering.

Spicy, a little heat. Inexpensive simple little port. On day 2, this did smooth out a little bit.
