was very pleasantly surprised by how much acidity this had. Not a sledgehammer like I was expecting.

Dark ruby with purple hues. Fair amount of sediment left in the bottle. Aromas and flavours of oak, ripe strawberry, cherry, leather. Really savoury on the palate. Smooth and full bodied. Medium acid, XD, M+ tannin. Short finish. Drinking well now, but no rush.

This is approachable now and can be drunk over the next 3-5 years. Easy drinker and notes of red fruit, berries, a touch of charcuterie. For $24 cad it's decent
