Remains pale; lemon curd, underscored by zest & swathe of crushed stones, complex; an attractive tension between richness & sparky acidity, direct (later a verbena note); expansive finish. Drink now & next few years.

Very good and classic - a good balance between intensity and freshness. Fairly broad palate of stone fruits and flashes of citrus, the oak was nicely integrated and minerality present. Definitely elegant if not thrilling. This will probably keep, but I'm not sure the upside is there for my palate.

Minerality, limestone, oystershells, flint/matchstick, Meyer lemon, custard, white flowers, hint of butter popcorn but well integrated. Med body, med alcohol, med + acidity, long finish. Day 2: much more floral, melon, and citrus on the nose, salty citrus on the palate. Absolutely delicious - BIG fan!

Tasted in a lineup of the 2018 Hubert Lamy, Marc Colin, Joseph Colin and Ramonet, all from En Remilly, and after a tasting of the 2017. 2018 was warmer than 2017, and it showed. The Lamy was still the most elegant of the lot, but the Marc Colin showed a lot fuller and riper than the 2017. The Joseph Colin did not show perfectly, a bit dull and a tad funky, but it was hard to pinpoint what was wrong …

Drinking great now. Mineral, pure, well balanced. Had this wine with langoustines with butter and garlic. Great match!

very nice for the price ($80 incl. tax and shipment)... bright for sure and moreso than many '18's I've tried (not my fav vintage at all), also decent depth

Citrus and mineralic flavors and everything is in a good balance. Overall, a lovely wine but I had expected a bit more excitement and length.

Refined citrus, mineral, and floral nose. Very balanced on the palate; fresh, but not overbearing, with an elegant richness. Finishes rather long. Perhaps a few more years to unwind a touch more, though I would think no later than 2025.

Surprisingly yellow for a 2018, Light underripe Melon, white flower, slight flint and wet gravel. M+ body, very mineralistic and stony taste. M+ acidity

From 2 parcels, one very near the Chassagne side and the other near Les Cortons. A generous array of juicy and ripe citrus fruits, flinty tree fruits and mild spices. Smoky minerals with a fine body. (88/100)
