Alto Piemonte strikes again! A great bargain at $25. Textbook Nebbiolo profile without the tannic structure found in Barolo and Barbaresco. Slightly chilled it rocked the house with a charbroiled burger. Looking forward to the rest of the bottle tomorrow alongside smoked duck breast 😈

Tasted alongside 2019 Brezza and 2017 Barolo. More fruity and less structure/finish in comparison but still good/tasty and others enjoyed. Good value wine. Easy to drink.

Really a wonderful value on an old vine Nebbiolo that is from non-classified vines. Bright cranberry and other tart red fruit with good acidity.
