Medium ruby colour in the glass. Medium (+) intensity of strawberry, raspberry, forest berries, hint of mushroom, light cedar on the nose. On the palate cherry, raspberry, red currant jam, mixed flowers, light leather, cedar. Dry, high acidity, high chalky tannins, medium alcohol, medium (+) body, long finish. A fine aged Moulin a Vent Beaujolais, at a beautiful stage of development, fresh with hints of maturity.

Color: Quite intense ruby, slightly lighter at the edges, but does not go into brick red, which is surprising considering the wine is 14.5 years old. Nose: Dark fruit, slightly mushroomy, cinnamon, some mint, cardamom (?), slightly green vegetables Palate: medium plus acidity, medium tannins, low sweetness, medium body, medium minus alcohol 92/100 Description: Very young for a wine over 13 years old, lots of fruit, rather fresh, mainly dark fruit. Maybe very delicate mushrooms in terms of three-dimensional aromas, …

whoa, this is taking beaujolais to a whole new level. lovely dark cherry fruit with considerable tannins. 10 yrs old and showing signs of sophistication with no decline insight. Not sure I would ever guess this to be gamay if blinded.

Good wine but didn't find that special identity that brings it on another level. So in the end bit to pricey. Had some better bottles from different cuvees.

- Straight from the bottle - Nose: A little closed at the beginning, but opens up more and more. Quite youthful with very little sign of first maturity. Fresh fruit, a combination of red and black fruit; strawberries, currants, blackberries, plums and some cassis. You can tell that as much fruit as possible has been extracted by whole cluster fermentation. It is a cool, stony, somewhat thorough - unripe (effeu, green pepper) nose. Plus some cedar, forest floor and some …

A bit too light for my taste but it´s a good wine. Balanced acids, light tannins and fruity.

Very pretty color... precise for 2011. Nice high toned fruit on the nose, with some minerals in place. Overall quite light, but nice and tight. Very tight on the palate with moderate, soft fruit present. The finish dials up with more intensity and some moderate tannins and acid. Mild fruit with lingering raspberries, but it's all incredibly light and compact. You can sense its elegance and beauty for aging, but it's just not meant to be drunk right now. Being …

Decanted and consumed over two nights. Still very tannic and not clear that much fruit will remain when the tannins soften. Mid weight, mid acid. 13%

2017 Austin Food & Wine Festival; 4/29/2017-4/30/2017 (Auditorium Shores, Austin, TX) : By far the best in the Beaujolais tent at the Austin Food and Wine Festival. Has substance, flavor and complexity. Well done, but there are far better from this region

Decanted for 3 hours. Pretty but not sure it will age as well as others expect. 13%

Tasted at Los Poblanos in Albuquerque as part of their Lavender dinner. Stunning wine, drinking perfectly, really should change opinions on what is possible with cru Beaujolais. Structure, nose, fruit, tannins, all in great balance. May lack the complexity of the very greatest wines, but it is approaching that level.
