My only bottle of this here kitchen sink type blend of grenache/garnacha (35%), cab sauv (25%), samso (15%), syrah (13%), merlot (9%), and cab franc (3%). Turbid deep ruby. Herbs and spices on the nose. Plum, blackberry, raspberry, black currant, licorice, lead pencil, vanilla, and tar highlight the palate. Bold and intriguing, this wine is round and dry, with medium+ tannins, medium acidity, and medium alcohol. Paired well with ribeye steak.

Hard to believe this is the entry-level Priorat of the ‘Casa Gran del Siurana’ estate. An extremely well-made wine designed for early drinking pleasure, but capable of cellaring for 3-4 years. The “2015 GR-174 Vi de Gran Recorregut” refers to the long-distance hiking trail (Sender del Priorat ) that crosses the estate's vineyards. Grenache/Cab/Syrah/Samso/Merlot/Cab Franc. 35/25/the rest. Medium minus nose is a little closed, dark fruit and spice. Palate is nicely medium bodied, acidity and medium tannins show up front, then fruit secondary, showing graphite, black plums, tar, could use more fruit tones but this came out of Coravin so no chance to breathe.

Smells of cherry and dark tones with hints of caffe, Sweet taste, medium fill, long aftertase, dark and spicey. A raw taste of coffee/dark undertones until it had it had stayed in bottle for 2hr.

Inky purple color, long slow legs. Slight notes of tobacco, big dark fruit taste. Nice balanced wine. Paired well with my steak- pretty good alone but tannins are prevalent. Overall I really enjoyed it!

Served alongside the Xavier CNdP '09 and had no trouble standing its corner. Blackish purple. Deep, perfumed nose, black fruits, violet, herbs, pepper and oak. Broad palate, but not soupy, with crunchy dark fruit, toasted oak, hillside herbs. Long, inky finish with refreshing acidity and just a trace of Cab aromas. Consistent with previous note, this is cracking value and makes Southern Rhone look overpriced.

without a doubt a well balanced wine. all is there, lots of flavor, but its not really for me. Its little bit too much of everything, it tastes a little bit burnt, a little bit overdone. paired with food to match its probably better. but hey, im a pinot guy, maybe i shouldnt even bother. but nonetheless, good, not great.

ljusare vinröd med blå ton körsbär, övermogna jordgubbar i massor, svartavinbär med lite blad kvar, chokladtoner. Känns inte eldigt i doften trots hela 15%. smaken: röda vinbär, jordgubbe och söta körsbär, svarta vinbär och en lite sötma.Faten finns där och där är ganska osnygga tanniner.
