Fruit was subtle. Pear pit, softened citrus, belgian beer spices, loads of chalky minerality. Quite simple, but I enjoyed it.

A delicious little bottle of wine that really shows the character of the Penedès region. Paired with patatas bravas (is there a better accompaniment?), it showed aromas of white peach pit, tropical fruits, and whiffs of chalky minerality. At only 11.5% alcohol, this has a light touch, but it didn't sacrifice anything in the palate, which nicely fused the fruit and acid. Sacado a ciegas. Se muestra demasiado austero, dice poco. Citrico y mineral sin mucho más que aportar. Estilo de la casa, sí, pero esta botella me convenció bastante poco.

Sutil y fresco, fruta de hueso, mineralidad. Una capa de levaduras tapa un poco al conjunto. Bizcocho. Le falta estructura aunque se bebe bien. Mucho mejor la añada anterior.

100% certified biodynamic Xarel-lo. First macerated with the skins for a few hours, after which the wine is fermented and then aged on the fine lees for 2 months. Intense green color, a few odd particles of dusty deposit float in the glass. Surprisingly rich, juicy and almost tropical nose with succulent aromas of sweet apples, leesy creaminess, sweet exotic fruits and a hint of mushy apricot.
