Château Pradeaux Bandol La Rose Folle

Finally coming into a really nice place. Animal and smoke notes. Still tannic but smoothing out. Probably has some upside but starting to drink well.

This was a dark rich and syrupy (too?) wine with a rich aroma but lacked wow. Odd for me to say, but perhaps this was too traditional.

Jeff’s: Very cool, relatively understated wild and gamey notes; hint of animal, mix of licorice in there; good age, elegant soft entry, but still some very present t’s, even though dusty and small, lots of them; good age, most primary gone; 5 years to go,. Grt!

Slightly oxidized from standing upright at store. Muted fruit and earth with a dusting of tannins.
