This was a gift and I didn't know what to think about it. Cellar Tracker said it was best to drink by 2015 (2+ years ago) so I decided to drink it now. Cork broke when I opened it which made me more intrigued. Drank it with a nice grilled flank steak. It was excellent! Very smooth. I'll be looking for this wine, especially if the price point is under $30.

Given has a house gift. Very average...I've had $13 wine far better than this. Thin and flat with a short finish. I pick up hints of Mega Purple. Definitely on it's last leg.

Moss and cedar on the nose. Huge legs. Full bodied with spice, current, blackberry and leather on the palate leads to a long, pleasant finish. Moderate complexity.

Finally, purchased an excellent bottle. This cab has been inconsistent from bottle to bottle. But today it was singing. Blackberry and raspberry with loads of toasty vanilla and hint of mineral, finishing long with sweet velvety tannins. A very nice complex cab for $25.

Full bodied. Inviting aromas of blackberries and raspberries. A little sweet on the sip but fading away on the mid palate. Aboundant fruit flavor with a lingering finish. A very good Cabernet.

This bottle not as good as previous bottles. Fruit over powered by citrus tart flavor, vanilla non-existent. Maybe this bottle was not cared for at TW.

Nice Calif Cab. Some rich flavors (mocha? whatever). There was a sort of an odd (in the sense of unexpected) tannic taste there, but nothing too harsh. Migh be worth waiting a few years to see if this subsides
