A year on, much more settled, but still tangy and delightfully acidic behind the creamy fruit. Excellent for its market (New World Pinot Noir under £10), which so often fails to deliver anything for my palate.

Riesling & Pinot Noir Tasting at MHP (MHP) : Not quite as delightful as the last time I tried it but still very good. Obvious oak influence, this wine is very young and a little agitated, needs to rest another year or two.

Riesling & Pinot Noir tasting with Alan from Clifton Wine Cellars (Wills Hall, Bristol) : Pretty standard colour for a PN. Quite viscous. The one thing that impressed me on this wine is that the oak that is there is very well integrated. I am easily turned off by bad oaking but I thought this was exceptional.
