Rockburn Chardonnay

Brioche, almond, spice. Complex and interesting aroma, inviting and tropical. Fruity and bright entry, full texture then a lovely smooth and broad mid palate before a more textured and chewy finish. Overall much better experience than previous bottle. Paired nicely with crab cakes and roasted veg, wish had more but may be my last bottle!

Golden color, showing age. Nice complex aroma with barrel and still some nice fruit showing. Flavorful and pleasant entry, a bit astringent from the age. Overall a nice wine a bit past it’s prime, should have opened it a few years ago!
