Second and last of these in short order, and my note is satisfyingly a carbon copy of my first from August. Consistency of the wine or the drinker? This being on the low end of the White Rose spectrum augurs well for the remainder.

Most recent TNs on this are from thirteen years ago! From the lower end of the price spectrum at White Rose: a mere $27 in those days. Gosh, this wine is beautiful right now: ruby with a lot of clear rim; lovely woodsy aroma; dark, sweet cherry fruit, moderate acidity, good length.

Warning, this bottle is currently closed for business. I am a huge fan of this wine and have been drinking regularly since its original release. Back in 2012 I rated it as high as 97, and I still think it is one of the highest quality Pinots ever to come out of the area. I’m afraid, however, that this one has gone into deep, deep hibernation. I’ve tried pop-n-pour, I’ve tried decanting and sampling each hour for over 6 hours; …

Color: transparent, light ruby -> diffuse, pale ruby rim. CORKED ! ! ! ! Such a shame. Really looking forward to an awesome Oregon Pinot; fervently hoping my other two bottles aren't flawed!

The cluster style allows the wine to retain a sharpness and highlights the berry fruit. Very earthy & tobacco bouquet over hangs the whole berry tones. Decanting for 2 plus hours rewards the drinker with a warmer whole berry fruit tone to the taste

4 hour decant is mandatory. Decanted 1 hour and consumed over 6 hours; best between hour 4 -6. This is maybe starting to go through a transition period. 7 months ago, a 3 hour decant was all that was required. Tonight this was completely shut down until hour 4; but then opened up nicely and shined like a diamond between hours 4 – 6. Head-to-head match up against the ’08 St. Innocent, White Rose (92 pts). Re-affirms my suspicion that …

Decanted 1 hour and consumed over 7 hours. Starting ramping up at hour 3 and was singing between hour 4 – 6. Heads-up challenge against the ’08 Penner-Ash Pas de Nom (95 WS). Although I still consider both to be in the top 5 best Willamette Valley PNs for the 2008 vintage, the White Rose just dominated in both nose and palate concentration. The Pas de Nom had a little better acidic balance than the WR, but was totally outclassed …

Tangy dark berries on the palate with a smokey finish. Impressive depth for such a young wine. Perfect match for Asian marinated pork tenderloin.

A steady, even Oregon pinot effort. Nose has candy cherry and whiffs of mineral. Elegance in the mouthfeel, exactly what I expected. A step above other "Willamette" blends.

Very good wine! Had with wild King Sockeye salmon; good berry(strawberry, rasberry(blackberry?) extemely well balanced start to finish. Probably liked more than other reviewers because we are fans of California Piont's more so than Oregon and this was similar(not the same) as say Goldeneye. Would buy again, thanks Justin(Esquin Wine Merchants).

Still needs time. If you open it soon, decant for an hour or two. Darker fruit on the nose carries to palate. Some tannins on the finish.

It pays dividends to have Jesus as your winemaker, for he can do things mere mortals can't. Take this Whole Cluster effort. We were fortunate to taste this, albeit from a day-old bottle at a low level. Clear, dense brick red color; despite the hours opened, the aroma was captivating: elusive and perfumed; some vegetal components, reflecting the stems; dark chocolate and espresso, lingering finish with sweet cherry fruit; structured for long aging if you can resist that long.

Forgot my notes but without a doubt, this is an absolutely beautiful wine. This is so balanced and beautiful even in youth. Due to the balance and refinement here I think this would be enjoyable at any point in it's long life but will reward those with patience.

Best in show at the 2011, Portland Indie Wine Festival. Whole cluster fermentation takes this to a whole different level of complexity; bringing out a cinnamon & earthy-mineral dimension to a rich, dark fruit foundation. Built for the long haul and will pay dividends to those with patience. I wouldn’t even think about touching this stuff until at least 2015, and likely won’t be showing its best until 2018 – 2022. 96 pts now, but I wouldn't be suprised to …

Dundee Hills Passport Tour (Dundee Hills, Oregon) : Dark cherry and strawberry scents are lovely and supported by full earthy scents with damp wood and lovely nutmeg beneath. The range of character on the nose is incredible, showing bright and dark notes in full form. The fruit here is just killer with cherries, blackberries, and limes delivering flavor in spades! Just like the nose, the expressions of dark and light characters are fantastic and well integrated. Acidity braces the entire …

Dundee Hills Passport Tour (Dundee Hills, Oregon) : The nose is on the dark side with cloves showing with bread crust and dark cherries. A clean wash of cherries rolls across the palate, and oak flavors hit on the sides before acidity dries everything out. The balance is good, and some nice dark fruit lingers with the acidity on the finish. Yum!

The wine shows some wet rock, minerals, cinnamon, clove, violets, cola, anise, mint and black fruits on the nose. The aroma is very expressive and complex. The wine is in good balance on the palate, but the tannin structure is a little sharp and rough. It will need some more time to smooth it out. But in general it is a very good wine.

The wine offers a very complex array of aromas starting with river rock, clove, cinnamon, dark sugar. After some swirls offers some green component which is very well integrated to the incredible floral and forest floor notes. Every time you smell it offers something new. It is an incredible NOSEGASM if this is a word. On the palate it over delivers with incredible flavors, structure and weight and an extremely lengthy finish. This is one of the best Pinot Noirs …

A forward wine that's ready to drink, but better with 30 minutes of air. Dark fruit, earth with a hint of minerality and some impression of stems on the nose. Relatively lush palate with a fair amount of complexity, though not much in the way of structure, which leaves it seeming just a touch flabby. One for near-term consumption.
