Drank way too young and way too late in the evening. Even still, it is very concentrated with a delightfully lingering finish. A damn good steal for $37!

I served this in my wine course. Smokey, earthy sweet cherry nose. Medium weight, with some medicinal distraction at first, but finishes nicely with firm tannic structure.

Tasted over 2 hrs, bottle from secondary market -med dark red -black cherry iron faint sweet roasted note -med/med+ acidity, med weight nicely focused black cherry iron earth faint medicinal note and a minty hint, adds complexity over a couple hours, fine med tannins -this is quite open for a 7 year old Pommard though first time tasting this producer and cru so can't say how typical it might be, seems to speak true to village and vintage
