Just great. Best Chardonnay of the year. No hint of aging, nice balance, wish I had more....

Mother's Day with "swordfish Provencal"....consistent with prior notes. Last bottle, excellent wine

Dinner with Mike. Eileen, Phil and Karen at Za. See prior notes, this is probably at its peak right now, drinking beautifully. I believe the was Luc Morlet's first vintage with this wine. Others have criticized the levels of oak in the wine, I find it to be well integrated.Bottles I have had have not been over-oaked, but you have to like this style.

Slightly better than the last bottle. Let this one open for about 30 minutes. The finish reminded me of a tasting i had in Burgundy this Summer (Batard Montrachet). Perhaps it's the winemakers signature or intent, either way very elegant and Burgundy like mid palate and in the finish.

No mistake on the California Chardonnay profile: oak, butter, popcorn, creamy vanilla finish. 2007 was the first vintage from Luc Morlet, his style comes through (Peter Michael). If you like Cal Chard, this one is right in the zone. Did not drink with food, it would pair well with richer foods. Finish is beautiful - elegant wine that opens after about 15 minutes. This is probably in its prime, would rink over the next couple years

Drink up everybody... This is our fourth bottle - and last. Aging a little prematurely - lost some of its edge and balance...

Still chugging away - seems to be improving. Tons of vanilla and honey-ed fruit. Nice finish.

Similar to previous note. Dense, almost syrup like. A slightly cloudy gold color. Pineapple, vanilla, and butterscotch with a touch of oak on the palate. Lengthy finish

Nice on its own. Definate cali style. Good fruit. With nice viscous vanilla. Long finish. Will be interesting to see how this develops.

Paired very well with Christmas turkey and all of its typical sides. In my opinion, as close to Burgundy as I have had in a Cali Chardonnay. Excellent fruit backbone with acidity and minerality to match. Palate of slightly creamy lemon, pineapple, vanilla and a touch of oak. Finish just sails on and on and on.
