65/25/10 Bronner/Souvignier Gris/Pinot Blanc. Medium plus nose shows deep citrus, fresh cashew, mango, crushed almond, lemongrass. Palate actually lighter than expected, medium weight, lightly waxy, quince, dried pear skin, bit of a candied feel as well. Very interesting and way off the beaten path.

Popped and poured. Grassy lemon aroma. Full flavors of citrus, pear up front. Rich lemon flavor in the tingly and slightly oxidative finish. Distinctive, firm backbone, some complexity. Excellent wine, solid QPR.

There is some reduction that hits upfront along with some funky notes, red apples, nectarines, spiced pears, cidery notes, herbs, elderflowers, daffodils, and some heady wild flowers. The Medium bodied feel is balanced with crisp, medium+ acidity that makes your mouth water. This is intriguing while the cider note is a bit distracting.

Is fine. A decent white that didn't really any specific impressions.
