Incredibly rich profile, full of layered intensity with this high heat that knocks you in the face. This packs a massive punch and you can certainly taste the pedigree. Sadly, the cork still snapped in half. I don't know why, but Remy Martin corks (even on their best bottlings) are always crap.

French Wine Society Champagne Holiday 2007 (Patterson Mansion, Washington, DC) : this was full, smooth with flavors of toasted nuts and a very distinct sweet cherry tobacco note. long finish. a very nice cognac.
