Good? This is beautiful. So smooth and velvety with dark, dark berries. It fills all the senses. I’m lucky that this is my first bottle out of 6. I will treasure this over the next few years.

A lovely smooth shiraz with soft tannins

Young nose, with blackberry cordial, lots of dark spice (fennel, cumin), and oak in the background. Palate shows light, silky tannin but intense flavour: cassis, fennel seed, and balsamic-glazed carrot, with a hint of barbecue smoke.

Opaque deep purple. Medium intensity nose brings ripe red and black cherries and plums, with light smoke and wood notes. Similar fruit flavours, albeit more stewed on the palate, plus a sprinkle of black pepper. Acidity is on the high side, adding a sharpness, while the tannins are more subdued. A good smooth shiraz. Not particularly fruit driven but a very pleasant drink.
