Azienda Agricola La Ghiga Barbaresco

Nice tawny color with some bricking at the rim. Nose is mature - baked raspberries, pomegranate, macerated strawberries, new leather, fresh tobacco. Palate is consistent with the nose. Dry, well-integrated tannin (M+), M+ acid, decent finish. This is at peak (?) and won't likely get much better. Drink up.
