BWC Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Sweet Wine Allcomers (Greater Bromley) : Once more quite meaty here on the nose with some underbrush and chocolate in the margins. Palate is cool fruited with some Rooibos tea and some earth.

Nose is promising but palate just as awful as last time. Metallic and bitter. Not at all acceptable for the appellation or price, or indeed at all. Avoid.

What a disappointment. From a respectable producer. But harsh and acidic with bitter sappy greenness and harsh, bitter green tannins. Under that there seems to be a core of dark fruit trying to get out but frankly every sip was exhausting and unpleasant. A sceptic might say it’s a typical red burgundy.
