BELO Cellars Port Cottá

Cork was in great shape after 14 years; only lost a tiny piece on opening! Right out of the gate, it was all secondary: molasses, dates, caramelized mushrooms, fig newtons, and all manner of other syrupy sweets. As it opened up over the course of the evening (3 hours or so), the fruit came back slowly. By the last glass (alas!), this port was singing.
