Full bodied, deep ruby color, no hint of oxidation. Fully open in twenty minutes. Delicious berry, cherry, ripe black fruit. Smooth. Not at all past its prime; perhaps this is its prime time, ten years or more bottle aged. My one disappointment in the Paradigm wines we purchased on site a decade ago, is that their corks are falling apart. Some secondary fermentation went on in the bottle, so we ended up with a slightly fizzy merlot.
