Wonderful take on Bordeaux white blend from one of my favorite Spanish producers. Light and elegant, but of course with some 13,5% alcohol - quite a lot of weight …

Large scaled sauvignon blanc with complicating notes on the nose, oak, lemon custard, apricot. Medium weight on the palate. Could use some more time in the bottle to mellow out some of the oak notes, but a very nice wine at this stage.

Quite average, good zip, SB character, too cold outside. H's backyard dinner party.

Outstanding wine! Blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Verdejo. Super elegant, “aristocratic” wine. Very concentrated, beautiful minerality, great length. Pronounced aromas of white peach, lemon, white grapefruit, grass, asparagus, biscuit, toast, flint, wet stone. Dry wine, high acidity, medium body, pronounced flavour intensity, long finish. 13,5% - Thank you Linda Docters van Leeuwen & Frank Finken

Not much nose but plenty of flavors. Paired with niguiris and makis. Ideal around 50 degrees (F)

I liked this wine at the retailer tasting and bought a bottle for a more in-depth assessment with my wife. The wine was bright light lemon in colour and showed lovely citrus, ripe gooseberry, sweet ginger and pleasant spice on the nose and palate, with medium-level acidity and good length of the ginger-infused finish. Medium-bodied and well-balanced, with a good, smooth texture and well-integrated oak. My wife claimed it must have been vinified from gooseberries and not grapes… We liked …

Retailer tasting. Citrusy, waxy and spicy, with intriguing sweetness. Medium-bodied, balanced and crisp, with medium-level acidity and good length. So far, my favourite wine of the tasting.

I find this way to oaky, probably needs some time but the oak is so sweet right now. Very waxy, ripe citrus, ripe stone fruit. Very sweet, more acid would be appreciated. I find the wine overall rather sickly
