We enjoyed this with grilled steaks. It has glass filling aromas of currants, plums, licorice and some minerals. The pallate is a nice balance of dark fruit, acidity, and fine tannins that tell you this delicious wine still has several years left if properly cellared.

Inky color, lots of acid, has a funny almost disappearing mid on opening. Settles down to still quite a bit of tannin with good mid and finish. Let this go for at least 3 more years.
