Well made wine. Tasted blind this has all the hallmarks of Nebbiolo but with a slightly stewed/cooked plum aroma. Floral notes with ripe red fruit and a juicy finish. Tannins are upfront with spicy oak on the back end. Tasty.

Pale ruby with shades of brick. Really cool nose of red fruits and tomato with roses and underbrush. The tomato carries to the palate along with red berries, graphite and earth with a nice herbal finish. Really fresh and firm with med+ tannins and med+ acidity. Had Pinot/sang/neb vibes. Really good with food too. Big fan. Buy more.

Root Day - enjoyed with a Greek styled pasta and lamb sausage dish that Stephen created. Fruit Day - pours translucent cherry into the (Pinot Noir) glass. Nose is warm with sweet cherry, strawberry, red flowers and light savoury herbs. On the palate it’s medium bodied with the red fruit showing initially followed by the light herbs. The tannins are present but ripe and the acidity level is medium plus.
