I do not understand the lower ratings for this Rhône-style wine. While a bit soft, it is nevertheless a very nice mouthful and in great shape at almost 10 years old. If you already have it or can buy it, enjoy!

Silky smooth, balanced tannins, at it's peak? Great with our rack of lamb tonight!

Decanted but started drinking soon after. Better as warmed (61F to room temp, even in glass) more so than time to open up. To the nose, all things black: black cassis, blackberry, and black plum more than black cherry, with slight black olive. Slight oak, very slight cola. On the palate, same fruits with slight raspberry - fruit forward (not a CdP or CdR) but not syrupy. Slight chocolate, anise/licorice, and a faint orange tea after midpoint. Spice is mainly …

Excellent Washington State Rhône ranger, with good fruit, velvety texture and clean and balanced throughout. Good QPR, too. I’d buy again.

Outstanding Washington GSM. Well balanced with good structure, medium to full bodied, and a mix of red and black fruit.

Rhone blend from WA. Initial aromas of raspberries and cherries followed by earthier notes of herbs and smoke. Palate is soft with supple tannins and acidity that lingers. Palate of red fruit, black tea, oregano, bay leaf and a rich minerality.

Ripe fruit, cherry, light tannins. Enjoyable but not complex or truly outstanding.

This feels about 50/50 Rhône blend and west coast blend in personality, which I guess stands to reason. Has a soft, sun baked earth/mud character, spiced tomato sauce, Rhôneish dark fruit but with a little...cantaloupe? dried apricot? as well. No garrigue to speak of. M to M+ body, M to M- acid, tannins are pretty gentle, some spicy alcohol though you can tell it’s not a 15-16% monster. Holding up fine but there’s not tons of structure so I wouldn’t …

Decanted for about an hour or so before starting. Drinking well right now, drank with Braised Beef Short Ribs. Think red fruit and herbs. Plum, Strawberry, Cherry. Rosemary/Sage/Black Tea/Pepper.

Drank this wine with our neighbors during a blind quarantine wine tasting party over Zoom. This Rhône blend was the most subtle and interesting of the bunch. Light but full of flavor really taking advantage of the Grenache and Syrah varietals.

Really tasty. Full bodied. Great nose (not quite as bold as Terri likes but perfect for me).

Reasonable example of Rhône style, maybe a bit expensive for what it is.

Current release and in prime drinking window! Distinctly weighted towards old world style this is sage and garrigue with warm spice. Ripe fruit, yes, but nice tautness from light tannins GSM with counoise and cinsault; very nice

Needs a bit of a decant, a bit earthy on the nose right out of the bottle. Layered nose of wood spice and berries. Nice bright fruit, Medium body and smooth.

My wife and I tasted this in the Woodinville tasting room on 12/29/18. It had a soft, fragrant nose of raspberry, cherry, toast, pepper and spice aromas. The palate was rich with good acidity and flavors of raspberry, cherry, toast, pepper, spice and minerals. 90+

Good for what it is but not really for me as it’s Grenache dominant. A bit earthy.
