1 hour decant in glass. Garnet w/ dark red brick edge in color. Nose of cherries, raspberries, cola and beef jus. On the palate: raspberries, cherries, mandarin orange & vanilla spice. Creamy tannins are just barely perceived on gums. Medium-to-long finish of cherries, red berries and subtle warm spice. Tremendous QPR and the wine has really improved over time. Keen to find more and see what this evolves into over the next 3, 5 and maybe even 10 years.

Opened for one hour, then poured. Translucent ruby. Burnt raspberry on the nose. Light bodied, bright red fruit framed by very slight tannin. Affordable red burgundy for "normal people." Absolutely delicious. Drink now. (87-89).

Nice bottle of basic burgundy. Fresh strawberry and red cassis.

At Emma with Danny. This was not great. Couldn’t quite put my finger on the issue, but something was off (not in a wine fault sense).

Much darker and inkier than i expected. Not a bad nose. Oak, raspberry and wild strawberry in the nose. I felt the oak in both the nose and palate. Disturbingly harsh aftertaste. Maybe too young. I don't know.

Tasted against two other Bourgognes that cost more. This was in the middle but cost the least and is a light expression of Burgundy for a great price. As an aside, these wines have an 'edginess' that I like and I wonder if a dollop or two of a Rhone grenache or California pinot might make for a 1er cru?

Had twice—I thought it was ultimately fine as a kind of table wine, though a little strange as an expression of Burgundy. The nose was muted each time, giving off spices with much coaxing reminding me of Glühwein (cloves, anise). Virtually no fruit for me. The palate was different—mostly cranberries, but those tapered off quickly into gravel.

Agree with expert note by Caesar77, young Burgundy color, exotic nose worth the experience for sensory sniffers - use a large burgundy glass and keep on swirling. Nice medium fruit entry on the tart side, with disappointing bitter cranberry finish. Perhaps, air and food will help?

Bright ruby color with nose of strawberries, truffle and a hint of spearmint. Silky tannins with tart red berries greet the palate and lead into a medium-length finish of beef jus & cranberry. Needed a little air to reveal itself and was drinking best on day 2. Very nice QPR...
