Gave it to some friends as a joke and it tasted pretty good.

Ruby red color with medium body. Dark fruits and wood aromas with dark fruits and lead flavors. Lingering spicy finish.

Quite a nice wine! Medium/dark ruby. Nose is gentle with grenadine and red currents, floral overtones. On the finish supple and layered. Moderate acidity and satiny tannins. Could be mistaken for a cote-rotie or even a mid-range burgundy.

Little fruit, sour faint cherry, musty earthy trace, very harsh tannins-even after hour and half. The name is a misnomer unless it is named after it's tannins. We couldn't finish the bottle. May have been a flawed bottle.

Deep garnet; faint sour cherries, blueberries, cedar; woody, thin, some balance, harsh tannins, short finish. Not much fruit but enough sugar to balance the acid. Good for company who will appreciate the gag label more than the wine. $14.85 @ LCBO.
