Domaine Robert Arnoux / Arnoux-Lachaux Nuits St. Georges

This needs time but the raw material is mighty impressive. This is concentrated and balanced without any of the 2020 “too-muchness” that infects some wines of the vintage. Dark with fine tannins.

Arnoux-Lachaux’s Nuits-St-Georges 2020 is very closed at this stage. Bursting from the glass with notes of dark fruit and cocoa, it doesn’t show yet the sensual notes that are the house trademark. The palate is still tannic, even if air helps. I would keep my bottles for at least +5 years. Pricing makes no sense in my opinion.
