Ravine Vineyard, Reserve Red, St. David's Bench

Drinking very well, smooth. Bit of balsamic on the nose mixed with dried berries, spices, and some herbal tones/greenness. Not a lot of fruit left … maybe some raspberry and cherry (not sweet fruit). Some spices, earthiness, herbal tea, and a touch of peppers. Tannins not noticeable. Medium length to finish. Still giving the northern cool climate overall feel.

Wonderful wine, tasty, smooth. Nice raspberry and cherry aromas, some spices, earthiness, and a touch of peppers. Flavours repeat. Smooth dusty drying tannins … not harsh or bitter. Juicy with the berries opening and flowing to some tea and spices and peppers (greenness) on the finish. Medium length to finish. Still some freshness and lightness to the viscosity on the palate (typical northern cool climate thickness). Some nice overall depth.
