2017 Koenig Pinot Noir was refreshing and juicy, perfect for causal weekday drinking in the summer heat. The youthful Alsatian Pinot Noir was clear and pale ruby in colour without any sediments, revealing varietal aromatics of raspberry, cranberry, bramble, violets and a touch of wet stones. The mouthfeel was dry and medium-bodied, with high level of salivating acidity and medium level of supple tannin.
