Lovely Oregon Pinot. Very well balanced with nice notes of stewed strawberries, red cherry and cedar spice box. Layered and palate pleasing with a reasonably long finish.

You DEFINITELY need to decant and let this one sit 45 minutes. When first opened, the nose is not very appealing, smelling a bit musty with a note of armpit (seriously!). It is a bit hard on the tongue at first. After 30 minutes of sitting you start to get the sense that there is something here, and at the 45 minute mark the nose is appealing and the tannins have all but disappeared, leaving you with an excellent pinot …

Drank with Brett. Very nice pinot. More burgundian in style than California. Maybe a little tanic and could benefit from 6-12 months cellaring.

round and supple. Berrys and vanilla, perhaps just a tad bit too much of the latter. Drink now. Very good or even excellent.
