Light. Paired well with Salmon. Had it open for 3 hours without much change. Tart cranberry. Still has some time to age.

A very interesting wine. Some nice red fruits in the background. Spicy notes on the palate. A long finish. Excellent grip. Glad I held this. Really turned out to be a nice wine. Long finish.

From a hard to find, low yield vintage due to poor fruit set and an influx of bird damage, this 2010 Willakenzie is quite restrained and shy on the palette. The nose reminds me of village level Chambolle Musigny. The wine lacks depth and complexity, but opened up to be quite revealing of the vintage and the terrior. Overall, I'm happy that I held this wine for almost 5 years before consuming it.

Ready to drink. Rich and full mid-palate reflecting the AVA and the vineyard but a delicious savory finish that reflects the cool vintage. A fine American Pinot noir.

Cassis, plum, licorice, hint of strawberry, and baking spices on the nose. Rich mouthfeel. This wine has aged very nicely.

Bold but not as much as other vintages. Fruit forward, seems a little hot. Will be better with some more time in the cellar.

Light berry, pretty aromas. Racy--maybe a bit overwhelmed by acidity. Didn't change markedly over time in the decanter or glass. Enjoyable.

Opened up after only 1/2 hour decanting. Light ruby color. Palate of tart cherries that soften at the end.

medium ruby, ripe cherry nose. Tart, dry tannins with medium friuit and body. Acid dominant, pie cherries, blackberries, roast beef, tart moderately smooth tannins with just a hint of bitter on the PnP. Drinking nicely with strong acids to carry it along for a good future. Always one of my favorite WK wines. Night two, red fruits acid forward, currants and rare beef steak with tart tannins. These '10s are some of the best WK for my palate.

Fair nose, closer to Burgundy style, soft finish

Maybe spicier and a little softer than the others in the range. Not bad.
