Medium yellow color. Aromas of green apples, honeysuckle and lime sorbet. Ripe, full-bodied fruit in the mouth with excellent depth and length. Mostly dry and persistent on the palate. This delicious wine was outstanding with the spicy and delicious food at Kalaya Restaurant.

We really enjoyed the flavor. Full bodied but not too strong

With Dulcie working on some exotic Asian-themed number on the stove, I thought this might match quite well. A bit past the sell-by date perhaps, though not in fact as it turned out. The warm gold color betrays the age, but the slight off-dry stone fruit manifest a wine still in a good place. The usual minerality and mouthfeel we like in Alsace.

This is really nice. Acidity, mineral (whatever that means to you) and balance of good character. This sets the bar high.

PnP. Very much like my prior note but by now the wine has lost most of the sweetness transforming the wine into a more classic Alsace Riesling possessing intensity and minerality. Will develop further

Stone fruits and flowers, with a sneaky, spicy minerality lurking in the background and a slight prickle that dissipated overnight. Decent depth and well balanced with subtle sweetness and good acidity. Medium finish.

Light yellow; slightly sweet nose, litchen fruit; fresh, nice, neutral, slightly sparkling; easy drinking, little complexity, little aftertaste, but fresh, refreshing and nice

Golden colour. Racy nose with good purity, slightly nutty, waxy, with fruity flavours of apple and clementine, yeast, and a hint of petroleum lurking behind. The palate shows great balance, great acidity and purity. Medium bodied and almost oily on the mid-palate; the finish is medium, would have wished it to be longer. A very good wine without a doubt, provides great pleasure, but for some reason I feel a little underwhelmed. Maybe expectations were too high, and maybe the …

PnP. Hay yellow. Opulent nose not very Riesling like. However, delicious and worth sniffing more than once. Spicy, sweetness. Harmonious palate, off dry, good acidity. Drink now - 2018? Went very well together with the prawn omelette.

13.5% - Clear, med to light gold / clean, med intensity - white peach, apricot, candle wax, light citrus notes (tangerine), apple skin, very elegant nose / dry, med+ zippy acidity which is balanced by a surprising med+ body which leaves a baked apple feeling coating in the mouth, med intensity, quite a decent length for Humbrecht entry level riesling - truly a great wine.

Tangerine, lime, and yeast on the nose. There was a certain creaminess to the bouquet which did not remind me very much of Riesling, that been said, the aromas and flavours were interesting, and intense. The palate was similar. Heavier, and rounder in the mouth, with a leesy richness you don't get in a lot of reisling, but this is not just trickery- there is a real core of fruit and complexity, with a mixture or flavours shining through. Tangerine, …

Tasted in a shop. As allways seems to be the case with his wines theres good minerallity, also a sharp acidity but this is off balance and a little disjointed, somewhat boring and one dimensionel to me although it is a wellmade wine. Only 5$ cheaper than some of his better village Rieslings I would gladly pay that small amount extra for far better wines than this. I feel that this is overpriced just cus of its origin.

- Yellow color with medium forming legs and aromas of diesel and bell pepper. It's balanced and has flavours of cut green grass and melon with a medium/full body. Round texture with a medium finish - Good example of an Alsace Riesling for an affordable price, paired well with Chinese food.

Complex nose of green apples, hints of petrol and nettles. Very tasty with apples, ginger, honey and minerals and hint of creaminess. Mild acidity and hint of sweetness, it is actually a little juicier at cellar temperature than at the fridge temperature. Light-medium body, very tasty wine although slightly higher acidity would be helpful. 89+

Tasted with the Weinback Reserve Personnel and showed well but had less acid and a slightly different flavor profile that didn't stand up to the Weinbach for me. Still a great wine form a great vintage and producer.
