A very good and ripe Chardonnay. In the nose bananas, very creamy and a good freshness! Nice density!

A Flight with 2013, 2008 and 2001 Chardonnay S with Philipp Wittmann himself For me the best one. Very lean body for a CH, creamy, watermelons, unripe bananas, middle+ acidity, long finish, not Burgundy style. Philipp Wittmann told us at the lunch that he tried in the past the French wine type but with the years he felt he can't copy the terroir despite having a similar soil, 89-90
