Weirdly dry, almost like taking a sip of gin, at the beginning of a sip, it fades to a nice pop of sweetness, but no honest expression of the traminette grape to be found.

Tasted at the winery. This sweet wine is fortified with brandy to 16% alcohol. Aged 2 years in oak. 5%RS. Notes of peaches, apples and honey. It came off as syrupy with light acidity. 78 points.
