This is evolving really well, broad and racy and savory with a profile that's starting to show some development, some salted caramel action, but still very bright. Best on day 3/4.

Sharp citrus, pear and toast on the nose. Bright and fresh through the palate. Great balance. Excellent.

Score! Hubby found another bottle in the cellar. So good. I'm still very impressed.

This is drinking well right now. Beautiful straw color with an oak-filled nose but surprising fruit of spiced-pineapple and honey tones. Good balance. Mildly dry on the finish that doesn't sustain for very long. This is much better with food; we had it with some halibut and it was a perfect accompaniment. I did have quite a bit of sediment in the bottom of my glass.

Fruit forward yet crisp and very dry, mostly pear notes, maybe some herbs. Couldn't help thinking it was a more forward version of a pernand-vergelesses. Certainly great acidity and very food friendly, and very, very worth the price.
