Reduced with noticeable rubber elements. It still has a fresh acidity with fruit peeking out underneath. A phenolic grip is present, adding texture to the wine. It is certainly tight, and I liked the minerally edge and hints of lemon but struggled with the reduction.

Cape Wine Pinot Noir Masterclass & Walkaround Tasting (Cape Town) : (Tasted Blind) A touch reduced at first with that rubber glove before citrus bursts through, lifting the nose. A vibrant acid frame supports the citrus-oriented fruit in this linear wine, while subtle notes of oatmeal and crème fraîche add some complexity. Fair length.
