Opened NYE and only 1/4 of the bottle was touched...not integrated. flabby, and too tart on the finish..too bad as I had high hopes.

A lot of Wines at Tommy's Clambake (again again) (Tommy's) : I remember having had this before and liking it more. Perhaps in a dumb stage or just not built for the long haul. Its a find wine though and certainly worth drinking. This bottle seemed tired. Some red apple fruit. A bit flabby. Others seemed to agree.

At home post dinner at Blue Point. Nicely chilled and served in burgundy goblets to give some air time. Splash decanted and poured back in the bottle. From prior notes: light gold/straw color. Nose was citrus and minerals, ripe and distinctive. Palate of baked apples, pear, mild oak, spice. Strong minerality." The orchard fruit in this bottle was more pronounced than prior bottles (not a bad thing), creamy texture on mid palate and tart acidity through. Picked up some vanilla …

At home with grilled chicken and roasted tomatoes... Consistent with prior notes: lght gold/straw color. Nose was citrus and minerals, ripe and distinctive. Palate of baked apples, pear, mild oak, spice. Strong minerality. I noticed this bottle really started to show after about 30 minutes, secondary flavors and complexity showed up on the finish. Drank this in burgundy goblets...makes a difference

This was brought to the NY offline at the Peking Duck House by Dave. This was a very well balanced Chardonnay which exhibited notes of vanilla, baked white fruit and a fine minerality. A creamy texture and a long finish. I am not a fan of Chardonnay but this was a very nice example. If you like Chardonnay, add about 3-4 points to my score. 89 points.

Holiday dinner party at our house - Chris/Stephanie, Franceso/Francesca. It's Christmas...time to open the good stuff for the guests...:) : First experience with this wine - have only had her Pinots to date - all spectacular. Light gold/straw color. Nose was citrus and minerals, ripe and distinctive. Palate was apples, pear, oak, spice. Great minerality on the finish. Tart acidity, paired well with cheeses and roasted peppers. Drinks well now, best guess is a good 5-7 year drinking window. May …

OR and Cal Chards, Burgs, and Old Cal Cabs (GHT) : Light golden in color. The nose has some vanilla, minerals and citrus. This is a big wine. Tart acidity which demanded food. Seems like it will age well. Delicious wine.

IPNC Lunches and Dinners; 7/26/2013-7/27/2013 (McMinnville OR) : Tasting. Ripe apple aromas and flavors, some peach as well on nose with a bit of new oak spice. Good balance with ok textures, still showing a bit of baby fat, so probably better in another year. Very good.

absolutely fantastic--the minerality and crushed rock on the finish is amazing. Complex nose, dynamite structure, weight, and mouth feel...this is the whole package!
