The most obvious sparkling Chardonnay I’ve tasted from the UtW series, but that — to me — is a great thing. Nice reduction with full yellow fruit, green apple, and honey. Glad I have one more, as this will only get better over time

Excellent, complex with honey, candied ginger, biscoff, pear and lemon peels. Great concentration on the palate with high acid and a m+ finish

Unbelievably good, and great value for the price. Traditional bottle fermentation produces a nose of straw and apple and palate of buttered toast and kiwi. A complex, meaty sparkling wine. Tasted at Bedrock in Sonoma.

Tasted at the winery. Really dense, pear, nose. A little flint/herb. Light mousse. Maybe the most classic California sparklers of Under the Wire roster.

Tasting with a Legend: Joel Peterson (Bedrock’s Gen. Joseph Hooker House, Sonoma) : Disgorged 2021. Pear and toasty elements on the nose and palate. Lingering mousse and bead. Excellent.
