A blend of 50% Grenache, 20% Syrah and the rest Carrignan, Cinsault and other permitted grapes. Dark ruby red, showing aromas of black cherries, earth and subtle spice. Soft and silky entry, exhibits redberries, cherries, garrigues, earth, smoke and spices. Good acidity couple with medium finish and a fine grippy tannins. Aged well and drinking nicely, albeit rather simple and forward.

We bought this wine for our wedding in 2012! We had one bottle left of the 2010 vintage and it aged perfectly! Could not have for it to age any better!

In surprisingly good shape considering it being on the shelf of our local wine shop for who-knows-how-long. Relatively dark color and little browning, probably due to its screwcap enclosure. Ketchup-like nose that I often associate with some Burgundies. Doubtful that this wine received any contact with small oak barrels but may have spent some time in larger foudres.

Included in informal tasting of random wines accumulated as hostess gifts. Reticent nose and palate. Lots of green comments: grass predominated. Not much of anything on palate, hard to get around green - some tobacco and earth with hint of black fruit. Maybe this would have been better a couple of years ago. Thought it would be better.

Very dark red color. Slow to open and finally nothing good to say. Too old? We used half a bottle in a nice glüh wine!

Lovely light Rhone. Simple clean expression of the fruit. Nothing terribly complex.

On the light side for a Rhone wine, but actually pretty enjoyable, especially considering the price.

The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like red currant. The body is medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity. Great with grilled meat.

I know it's cheap, but hoping for more in 2010. Must have worked hard to find such bad grapes

Ganske velsmagende dog uden den store dybe og kompleksitet, og yderst nemt at drikke

Nice fruit forward wine. This will appeal to a wide range of palates. Great QPR. Tough to beat at this price.

Tobacco and earthiness. Darker fruits. Nice finish. Pairs well with a savory dish like the mixed meat and veggie flatbread we had for dinner.

Another good showing. Nothing particularly complex, or worth running out to buy, but it is solid all around. Good acid and grip. Great taste profile. Nothing not to like, especially for the price.

Medium body, dark garnet red color, lightly aromatic, fruits, tobacco and spices aroma, red currants, tomato leaves, tobacco and peppery on the palate, fruits on finish, short finish, balanced, low acidity, completely integrated tannins, food friendly. Well associated with fowl and vegetables. Serve 16º - 20º. Drink now.

Yummy nose and palate with a bit of violets and lots of berry flavor. Good light to moderate tannins and medium acidity. The finish, however, is a bit flat and bitter. Definitely need to drink with food and not on its own.

I do not share the widespread grief over the demise of Dominick's (it is just a mediocre grocer after all), although we were able to benefit from the sharp 30 % discount on their remaining stocks of wine of which this was one. One normally associates the Rhone with lots of ripe fruit and meaty textures but sadly this one did not conform. I found it almost a little green and unyielding on first opening.

Dark ruby with a muddled nose of bacon and cherries. Cherry, pepper, tea and old leather finishing open in a drink now style. Very fair value.
