Young and frankly one dimensional at this stage and almost a shame to open it this young. Good feel on the palate, good ripeness but just buttoned down and not there yet. 89 at this stage and hopefully age will help it develop.

Totally different than my last experience with this wine in Milan 3 months ago. This bottle I bought in the states. Some barnyard funk on the nose, light to medium body. A bit thin. Quite tight and tannic.

Enjoyed a nice bottle of this at Paper Moon in Milan. Medium body, dark robe, nice balance and complexity with a wonderful gun powder / stone characteristic in the nose and palate that I suspect is attributable to the cab franc in the Bordeaux blend. Very nice, I will be seeking a case of this.
