Binah Chardonnay

Delicious. No oak or butter. Just crisp clean fruit.

91-92. Just beautiful. Pure fresh fruit. No Oak no butter. Pale gold color. Fresh Floral soft pear and melon bouquet. Good concentration and excellent balance. Pure fruit with delicious flavors of melon, dry Peach, dry honey and lots of citrus and minerals. Lots of acidity, especially on the finish, with a long finish. Enjoyable now this should probably age at least short to mid term term if not longer.

Another incredible QPR offering from the folks at Binah. Muskmelon, gruyere, a bit of smoke, white flowers, winter squash. I'd imagine this one is safe for at least another 5 years

Not typically a fan of most Chardonnay, I approach any new selection with a fair amount of skepticism. I was so pleasantly surprised by this offering from Binah Winery of Allentown, PA. Pennsylvania has seen rapid growth in wine productivity, and now sits 4th in the nation. So it's only fair we get our fair share in the kosher world. Trying side by side with the 2020 Reserve Chardonnay from them. Two completely different wines with completely different tastes and both were excellent. This has no Oak and it is absolutely a delicious expression of fresh Chardonnay fruit. The label says it is lean Style but to me it does not taste lean at all.
