Decanted for 15 minutes - with some sediment - but needs more decanter time. Clear medium violet in the glass. Notes of red fruit and some earth on the nose. light colour with a lighter rim. nose: good intensity but light scents - baked strawberries, ripe raspberries, tobacco, some spice - star anise. taste: medium (+) acidity; ripe fruits - strawberries, raspberries, cranberries, some bilberries; medium (+) slightly tart finish; light tannic structure. good balance - oak/fruit/acid.
