Methymneos Chidiriotiko Blanc de Noirs

This is a Blanc de Noir wine from the red variety Chidiriotiko of Lesbos. It has quite deep golden color and an aromatic profile which makes you expect a sweet wine, but it's not. Aromas are exquisite, bitter orange peel, quince and apple juice, palate has a very prominent apple juice flavor with slight oxidative notes and it is slightly bitter. Yet palate is round and smooth with medium acidity and clean finish. Strange but interesting wine!
