Good Ripe Beaujolais still with lots of cherry, red fruit and plenty of charm. Still drinking well but I think this vintage of it has peaked. Less lush and full of fruit than it was a couple of years ago.I have one left and will keep it till 2028 just to see where it goes.

Distinct aromas of raspberry and fresh tobacco. Tastes fully mature now, raspberry infused fruit. Good wine. Good vintage.

Garnet, low+ intensity. Developed, medium(-) intensity nose with red sour fruit, forest berries. On the palate dry, medium(+) acidity, low level of finegrained tannins, medium(-) body. 13%. Red ripe still a bit sour lingonberries. Very good length. At its best day three. Juicy nose, spicy, strawberries. Austere mouth with sour red berries. Very good length. Finely textured afterfeel. Energy. Lovely.

Absolutely lovely. This has a few years left on it but we really enjoyed it on a beautiful summer evening. Mint, raspberry, tarragon (thank you to a previous reviewer for pointing this one out). Well balanced. Not overly fruity per prior reviews from 2020. This wine tastes like a breezy walk through a spring meadow. Enjoy!

First from this vintage. Light at first but it fills out after it has been open an hour. Distinct raspberry flavours. Young still but nice and will go on for a few years yet.

90 Un vino muy rico. Granate, poca capa.

Brun's entry level bottling is singing in '18, with red fruit and bright acid on a medium bodied frame. Incredible value.

Medium purple. Lingonberry, pepper, saunavihta (birch whisk), tarragon, mint, raspberry, iron. Very green and herbal. Medium+acidity, medium tannins, dry, light body. Bit raw and young now, has potential to be cellared, I think.

This should be better from a great Beaujolais winemaker, even for entry level. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was simply a way to salvage the lowest rung of his 2018 Gamay. Fruity jammy aromas become a sour tart, abrasive over-extraction.

Gewoon echt lekker. Goed gemaakt.

I believe the first time I've had Chardonnay from Beaujolais. Makes me think of a fuller Chablis. Lots of crisp acidity along with prominent apple fruit and some subtle herbal notes. Reasonable QPR at $20USD.

Youthful, vibrant nose packed with crunchy red and black fruits, violets, black olives, damp soil and something meaty. Mid-weight, silky smooth mouthfeel and very good intensity. Juicy black fruit, spices and flowers comes through. Lingering finish. A joy to drink and the bottle was emptied very fast. I've tasted a couple of vintages of this wine and it keeps on delivering great experiences for a great price. Better than many Bojo Crus and for half the price.

Belle surprise.

Needs a bit of air to open up but fills out nicely; ruby magenta; youthful, fresh and loaded with exhuberant fruit but the acid and savoriness from old vines keeps this interesting, a good quaffed for the cerebral drinker this is just simple enough to throw back comfortably while being above most cru at this same price; drank over 3 days in the fridge, at a cooler temp this works with spicy Mexican food; recommended.

From memory. PnP. Always a joy to drink. Bright black cherries, some raspberries, herbs, and a bit of earth. Nice acids to keep the wine lively but enough concentration to get your attention. Trades in some of the bright joyfulness of carbonic macerated gamay for a bit more bass notes. Fantastic QPR nonetheless.

Bon RQP. (**1/2)

I love this wine. I don't think I've ever had a vintage that has been anything less than excellent. For me it's the perfect Beaujolais with plenty of summer/ autumn fruits but with a cut to it that makes it extremely refreshing and interesting. It combines the gaiety of Beaujolais with some of the seriousness of Burgundy. £12 at the Wine Society which is great value.
